Alison Tillitz ~ Interior Designer
Originally from Northern California, Alison earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Anthropology at New York University and after graduation decided to return home to pursue a degree in Interior Design. The combination of creativity, personal interaction and putting something tactile into the world drew her to interior design and the fast-pace of the industry has proven to be a great fit. The daughter of an international flight attendant, Alison was instilled with a love for travel at a young age. By the time she graduated college she had spent time on four continents and was hooked on experiencing and exploring cultures and design around the world. After several years of working for a high-end residential design firm in San Francisco, Alison moved to the Sacramento area to take advantage of the growing design market and to be able to spend more time with family and friends. She is excited to expand on her current knowledge and experience while enjoying the great food and beautiful outdoors that the Sacramento area has to offer.

Larissa Capley ~ Interior Designer
Guchi Interior Design is very pleased to welcome Larissa Capley to our Kitchen & Bath design/build team. Larissa was born and raised in Australia and lived much of her life on the sunny northern beaches of Sydney.
Larissa’s exposure to the kitchen & bath design field started at an early age. Her father was a general & tile contractor and the family owned a tile and bath store. The family later added custom kitchen design and remodeling to the business. Larissa later became a Certified Kitchen Designer. She understands not only the importance of designing a beautiful kitchen or bath for her clients but also one that is functional to their lifestyle today and years later.
In 2016 Larissa married an American and permanently relocated to California specifically here in Placer County. Not only is she a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer, Larissa also acquired her California general contractor’s license.
Besides her passion for interior design, kitchen and bath design/build, Larissa enjoys painting in oils, photography, playing piano, writing poetry and music. She also collects antique books, cameras, and treasures from around the world. Larissa has also traveled extensively in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia, and Eastern Europe. She attributes the traveling to helping her expand her perspective for different types and style of designs.
Nikki earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of California-Sacramento in 2013.
Born and raised in Sacramento, Nikki was introduced to Art by family when she was young and discovered her passion from there. Her family is a mixture of Artists but it was being introduced to a hand built detailed Doll house her father built, that truly captured her love for Interior Design. Seeing the detail in that model and being able to help change layouts and add unique small furniture pieces to the collection is what grew her fascination.
From there, it went to the teen years of helping friends with their bedrooms and obsessing over furniture magazines that held bold colors and texture. Now she is easily inspired and motivated by furniture, textiles, texture, color and all things nature. Other past experience includes over 7 years of Retail Sales and Customer Service.
Certified by Auto CAD and is working on her accreditation for the IDEX exam. Nikki is a very detailed person and helps out with renderings and drawings. She loves organization and loves to address spaces in a way that looks outside the box to capture as much space and livability needed for clients.
Kendall Sears ~ Showroom Design Assistant
Kendall earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design with a focus in Architecture from Sacramento State University in 2016. She is planning on going back to school to get her Master of Art in Architecture.
She is currently studying to get her LEED Certification and her accreditation for the IDEX exam. She loves combining colors and textures to create a unique space for everyone to love for years to come. Her design aesthetic tends to lean towards traditional and loves all the little details that come with it that you can’t necessarily accomplish with modern styles. However, she loves thinking out of the box when working with different design aesthetics on any project because of the unique challenges that come with it.
Her background holds a variety of different computer programs used along with rendering to achieve a better visual for encompassing clients’ projects throughout the many processes that go along with it.
